Microsoft has released a urgent out of cycle security patch.  Out of cycle patches usually mean the threat is pretty serious.  Most should have already downloaded the patch by automatic update, and once your computer restarts it will be applied.  However, I would double check to make sure that you have the update installed.  All you need to do is go to Windows Update and download your latest updates.  Here is more info on patch MS08-067.
