Going to see Max Payne today.  Have to say I’m really looking forward to this as I am a HUGE fan of Max Payne 1 & 2.  A few things are concerning me though.  One, this is a PG-13 movie.  Anyone who has played the game KNOWS it should be rated R if it were to have the true feel of Max Payne.  Second, in the trailers there is much mention of demons and god, like it’s the main theme of the movie.  There has been a lot of debate in forums (and digg) about this.  Some think that its a product of the people using V (the drug that was used in Max Payne) and others think its a big Hollywood Bloch-up like they have done with so many other movies.  I’m really hoping its a hallucination as a result of the drugs, because that would be closer to the Max Payne games.  I usually go into movies rating it a 3 on a scale of 5, and that rating goes up or down based on the movie.  If they really did put angels and demons into Max Payne, I will automatically drop my rating to a 1.  But like I said, I’m really hoping they do this right.  We will see tonight.
