Just for the record, I don’t go looking for this stuff.  This article came through my RSS feed from “The Register”.  One word…Rapelay.  The name of the game says it all.  It was developed for sale in Japan only, but I’m guessing there is some demand here in the states as well.  According to Honestgamers.com in the game you stalk, then grope, then rape 1 (or all) of 3 women.  Even though I know about the Japanese sex robots and the vending machines that give out used school girl underwear, I’m still a little shocked.  I would think it takes a special type of person to play a rape simulator.  But hey, it may not be that uncommon over there.  I don’t know, haven’t been there.  Guess I’ll find out next year when I go.  On a lighter note, while reading the Honestgamers.com review I saw there was a game called Battle Raper II, that surprisingly no one gets raped in.  You just rip off all their clothes…if that’s any better.  At least they have swords and such to fight you back with in that one.
