Yep, I have to admit I’m pretty bad at blogging.  I don’t update my site nearly enough to be considered a serious blogger….not that I’m really going for that but you know…  Funny thing is that the reason I don’t update more often is because the things that I like to blog about keep me pretty busy lol.  Between the gym, web development, and gaming I find it kinda hard to talk about what I did over “x” period of time because I’m always doing it.  I’m trying to get better at it to provide better content for the site.  For who you ask?  Well if your reading this….FOR YOU!

So recently I have been a little extra busy.  I recently put my second official site, sageinfinite.com, into production.  Originally it was sagetheinfinite.com, but that design wasn’t mine.  I pretty much just cleaned up the code and made it standards compliant.  Added a gallery too.  This site was completely mine, built from the ground up.  It includes a playable music library, gallery with images and video, and I also intergrated Facebook connect for the comments.  I’m pretty proud of the site, its my best work to date.  However, while working on this site I learned so much and I will be able to build a much stronger, better site next time!

In the beginning of May I put daddy-daycare.com into production.  This site was also done from scratch.  The old site was done in publisher….not by me.  This site is standards compliance using XHTML, AJAX, XML, and PHP.  I also was able to play around with Google maps on the site.  That one took longer to develop mainly because I knew less when I started it and it took a while to get information I needed from the owner.

My next web project has been put on hold for now.  Reason being that I can’t get the desired results I want when recording my screen.  It’s weird.  When I record using fraps in-game the picture, sound, and frame rate are great.  However, when I try to record from my desktop using hypercam or cam studio I can’t get 30 frames to save my life.  This is an important part of my next project which I talked about in a previous post.  If I can’t get screen recording done properly then I might as well not even go with the rest of the project.  I would be able to do full screen games and console games, but browser based games are also something that I wanted to do as well.  More so than the console based arcade games.  I’m hoping to have the issue resolved in the near future, but it’s not looking to promising right now.

Since I finished sageinfinite.com I have been able to game a bit more.  I have been playing TF2 a few time s a week…being called a hacker at least once a day .  I played L4D a few times but I really have to be in the mood for it.  I am planning on beating Mirrors Edge sometime this week.  It will likely be very difficult because I am on the last stage and I don’t really remember how to play.  But we shall see.  I just got Infinite Undiscovery from Gamely.  Played the first hour of it and I am interested so far.  Lets see how far this goes.
