Well, this is going to a short post.  Not really much to talk about when it comes to Google Buzz…it’s Twitter upgraded.  Buzzing is easy, you can do it right from your GMail account.  As I mentioned before you can add multimedia items inline with no issue or 3rd party.  If you don’t already have a profile for your Google account you will need to create one to use Buzz.  The profiles pretty much show the standard stuff for a social networking site, nothing new.  One negative I see is that since your Buzz account is attached to your GMail account, friends of your friends can see your e-mail address.  Not that big of a deal for me because my c0nc3pt account isn’t my primary.

Google Buzz is a competitor for Twitter, but is in no way a competitor for Facebook.  Not even close.  I’m a huge fan of Google, but this is just not enough to make a mark in the social networking world.  At least they have the branding out there now.  Perhaps in the future they will develop some features that will make me want to use it.  For now, it sits on the shelf.
