I knew that Portal 2 was coming sometime in the near future.  However, according to this article Portal 2 has been officially announced for Q4 of 2010. I like Portal, thought it was a very fun, polished, original game.  They definitely could have charged more for it instead of packing it in with the Orange Box but that’s why Valve is my favorite developer.  I am really looking forward to Portal 2 since Valve has NEVER let me down.  Seriously, it’s like they have never released a bad game.

So then why am I sad?  Well because they have yet to release any information regarding HL2: Episode 3.  With the ending of episode 2 (don’t worry, no spoilers for those who haven’t finished it) I was pretty pumped to see the preview for episode 3 after the credits…only to find out there was no preview.  I figured that the game just wasn’t ready enough to show the preview for.  A year passed.  Then two years.  Now it’s been over three years with no new information on episode 3.  THEY’RE DRIVING ME NUTS HERE.  I have never been so amped for a game to come out.  I am really hoping that they have a surprise announcement at E3 this year regarding episode 3.  It doesn’t even have to come out this year.  But at least give us some info on it Valve.
